Diagnostics, deposits & pricing
Every repair starts with proper diagnosis — no guessing. If you go ahead with the repair, the deposit is deducted from your final bill.
For common faults and straightforward diagnosis. Deducted if you proceed.
For HDMI faults, no power/short finding, liquid damage, board-level faults or intermittent issues. Deducted if you proceed.
Typical starting prices
Software, minor servicing, simple repairs.
Screens, charging faults, internal replacements.
Board-level work from £150+ (case-by-case).
Warranty is provided on repairs where appropriate (depends on the repair and parts used). Ask during booking and I’ll confirm what’s covered.
Deposits become non-refundable once diagnosis/testing has started, as this covers technical time and labour already completed. If special-order parts are purchased for your repair, those costs may also be non-refundable (unless faulty).
